we have been testing monitors for a bit, this is the 4th one and finally we like what we got.
battery life is AWESOME.
Video quality is outstanding, both in night mode and day modes.
The picture or sound is not compromised.
Both camera and parent unit appear to be well-built.

I set it all up without the instructions, super-duper easy.

CONS:

can’t completely turn the sound off on the parent monitor.
You can zoom from the parent unit but it basically just expands the screen to middle part of the viewing area since you can’t pan or tilt from this unit (you can do this on the 3.5 screen for more $$).
